Accessibility statement

Sculptvichaar is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains our current accessibility practices and how to reach us with feedback.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

In brief

  • We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard.
  • Our platform supports keyboard navigation, screen readers, and high-contrast themes.
  • We test on major browsers and assistive technologies.
  • If you encounter an accessibility issue, contact us at armaansco@gmail.com.

1. Our commitment

We are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing effort and continuously work to improve the experience for all users.

Our goal is to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which are widely accepted as the international standard for web accessibility. We also align with the spirit of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 of India.

2. Accessibility features we support

  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, menus) can be accessed and operated using the keyboard alone.
  • Screen reader compatibility — our pages use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and descriptive alt text for images.
  • High-contrast theme — the platform supports a dark mode with sufficient colour contrast ratios.
  • Responsive design — the site adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels (up to 200%) without loss of content or functionality.
  • Descriptive page titles and headings — each page has a clear title and heading structure for easy navigation.
  • Form labels and error messages — all form fields have associated labels, and errors are announced clearly.
  • Skip-to-content link — keyboard users can skip repetitive navigation and jump to the main content.
  • Resizable text — text can be resized without assistive technology up to 200% without breaking the layout.

3. Known limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still need improvement:

  • Some product images may not have complete alt text descriptions — we are working to add detailed alt text to all images.
  • The 3D-like image zoom feature on product pages may not be fully operable with keyboard alone.
  • Third-party widgets (Razorpay checkout, chat widget) are controlled by their respective providers and may have their own accessibility limitations.
  • Video or multimedia content (if added in the future) may not have closed captions by default — we will add them when available.

If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier, please let us know and we will prioritise addressing it.

4. How we test

We use a combination of automated and manual testing:

  • Automated tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools) to scan for WCAG violations.
  • Manual keyboard-only testing to verify navigation and interaction.
  • Screen reader testing with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS).
  • Browser zoom testing at 150% and 200%.
  • Colour contrast checking against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.

5. Reporting an accessibility issue

We welcome feedback on accessibility. If you experience any difficulty using our platform, or if you have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us:

Please include the page URL, the assistive technology you are using (e.g., screen reader name, browser), and a description of the issue you encountered. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Third-party content

Our platform integrates third-party services (Razorpay for payments, Cloudinary for images, OpenAI for chat). While we select partners who prioritise accessibility, we do not control the accessibility of their interfaces. If you encounter an issue with a third-party widget, please let us know and we will raise it with the provider.

7. Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is a continuous journey. We review our platform regularly and address issues as they are identified. We also plan to:

  • Conduct an annual third-party accessibility audit.
  • Add detailed alt text to all product and collection images.
  • Improve keyboard operability for interactive features like image zoom and lightbox galleries.
  • Ensure all new content and features are tested for accessibility before release.
