Cancellation policy

Order cancellation terms

This policy explains when and how you or Sculptvichaar can cancel an order, and what happens to your payment in each case.

In brief

  • You can cancel a ready-to-ship order within 24 hours of placing it, or before dispatch — whichever comes first.
  • Custom and made-to-order works can be cancelled before production begins only.
  • Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 3–5 working days to your original payment method.
  • We may cancel your order if the work is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or shipping to your location is not feasible.

1. Cancelling your order (buyer-initiated)

1.1 Ready-to-ship (Buy Now) works

You can cancel a ready-to-ship order free of charge if:

  1. You cancel within 24 hours of placing the order, OR
  2. The order has not yet been dispatched, whichever comes first.

After dispatch, cancellation is no longer possible. You will need to follow the return process once the item is delivered (see our Return & Refund Policy).

1.2 Made-to-order works

You can cancel a made-to-order order before production begins. Once the studio has started production (raw materials sourced, sculpting begun), the order is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

The studio will confirm by email when production has started. If you are unsure whether production has begun, contact us immediately.

1.3 Commissioned and quote-request works

Commission and quote-request orders can be cancelled at any time before you make the payment and before production begins. Once you pay and production starts, the order is non-cancellable.

Commissioned and made-to-order works involve committed time, labour, and materials. Once production begins, we cannot recover these costs, which is why these orders are non-cancellable after that point.

2. How to cancel your order

  1. Email us at armaansco@gmail.com with your order number and "Cancellation Request" as the subject.
  2. Alternatively, call us at +91 96678 03366.
  3. If you have an account, you can also view your order on the /orders page and use the cancellation option (if available before dispatch).
  4. We will confirm the cancellation by email and process your refund.

3. Cancellation by us (seller-initiated)

We reserve the right to cancel your order before dispatch if:

4. Custom work cancellations — special terms

Because commissioned sculptures are made specifically for you:

  • You can modify your brief at any time before production begins at no cost.
  • If you cancel after materials have been sourced but before sculpting begins, a 20% material cost may be deducted from your refund.
  • If you cancel after sculpting/production has begun, no refund is available.
  • If the studio is unable to complete the commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

6. Your statutory rights

This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If goods are defective or do not conform to the description, you retain the right to cancellation and refund regardless of the timelines above.
