How we use cookies and tracking

This policy explains what cookies and tracking technologies Sculptvichaar uses, why we use them, and how you can manage or withdraw your consent at any time.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

In brief

  • Essential cookies are required for the site to work — no consent needed.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Meta Pixel) cookies require your consent.
  • You can manage cookies using the consent banner or the cookie settings link in the footer.
  • Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent you from browsing or purchasing.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use local storage and IndexedDB (browser-based storage) for cart data and preferences — these are similar in function but are not technically cookies.

3. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site. The data collected includes:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Approximate geographic location (country, region, city — derived from IP, anonymised)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Traffic source (direct, search, referral, social)
  • Aggregated statistics (total visits, bounce rate, conversion events)

Google Analytics stores data on Google's servers (primarily in the United States). We have enabled IP anonymisation. We do not share personally identifiable data with Google Analytics. You can learn more about how Google handles data at policies.google.com.

4. Meta Pixel (Facebook)

We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. The Pixel collects:

  • A unique device ID (stored in your browser)
  • Page view events (which pages you visited)
  • Conversion events (add to cart, checkout, purchase)
  • Your IP address (used for geographical targeting, not shared with us in identifiable form)

Meta processes this data on servers in the United States and Ireland. You can learn more about Meta's data practices at facebook.com/policy.php.

5. Local storage and IndexedDB

We use browser-based storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) for:

  • Cart contents — so your cart persists across sessions without needing an account.
  • Theme preference (light/dark mode).
  • Sidebar open/closed state on admin pages.
  • Cookie consent preference — so we remember your choice.

This data is stored only on your device and is not sent to any server unless you choose to sync your cart (when logged in).

7. How to manage or delete cookies

7.1 Using our cookie settings

Click Cookie settings in the footer to open the consent banner and change your preferences.

7.2 Using your browser settings

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data

Note that disabling all cookies may prevent you from logging in, adding items to your cart, or completing checkout.
